American Idol News - Elliott Yamin’s Mother Passes Away
Wow, today seems to be a sad Idol news day. I just read this:
Claudette Yamin, mother of singer Elliott, dies at 65
The story reports that Elliott Yamin’s sweet, adorable, supportive little momma passed away on Monday, presumably from complications from hip surgery. God rest her soul, and our condolances to Elliott and his family. Claudette Yamin was one of the most likeable Idol contestant family members that I can remember, and it’s a shame to hear she is no longer with us. 
A reason to take heart - at least our favorite Cook seems to be okay after last night’s hospital visit. And, we get to look forward to another week of the inferior Cook… and her “seat”.
