So I think the two dollar question here is whether I.Q. in I.Q. Identity Quest stands for Identity Quest or Intelligence Quotient - Lets hope its the latter.  So what is I.Q. Identity Quest?  Well, its a new casual game from our friend at Oberon.  Specifically, it’s a puzzle game where you test your IQ (Identity Quest?) to solve puzzles and finally realize how smart you really are.  It goes without saying that you know you’re sexy, so we don’t need a game to find that out - Or do we?

Another new title in the long list of casual games here at Jenkat arrives today with the release of Sprill: The Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle.  Yep, it’s a hidden-object game, yet unlike so many other games in that genre these days, the game seems to have a very fresh look with lots of color and light.  I’ve always liked that in a game.

Sprill will send you on an adventure to help find boats and planes that have disappeared in the mysterious Bermuda Triangle.  Is there something paranormal or even extraterrestrial beings lurking in the waters?  You’re about to find out!

Another new casual game at Jenkat Games, this times its a genre close to our hearts - Treasure Hunting.  It all started with the Gold Miner series that we created while we were at MySpace.  After going out on our own and creating Jenkat, one of our first games was Finders Keepers, which continued the trend of great treasure hunting games.  Now comes Fishing Craze, and while not exactly like Finders Keepers, it seems to have been inspired by it.

In Fishing Craze, the object of the game is to catch as many fish as possible.  You drop your line, but unlike other treasure hunting games, this time the boat can still move resulting in your fishing line always in motion.  Once you catch what you want, the fish is reeled in and then hurled into the air where you have to position your boat to catch the fish.  The game is much more frantic than Finders Keepers, but in the end provides some quality entertainment.

There’s a new hidden-object game in town and its called Miss Teri Tale.  It’s true the casual games industry has been seemingly overwhelmed with hidden-object games in the last six months, but as long as you enjoy playing them, that’s all that counts.  Miss Teri Tale is now available on Jenkat Games, the place to play games.

So what’s the game all about?  Well, it seems that someone has kidnapped a prized show dog named Jason and you’ve been recruited to find him.  Jason?  That seems like an odd name for a dog, doesn’t it?  In any event, Jason needs your help.  Are you up for the challenge?  Make some time this weekend and download Miss Teri Tale.

When it comes to cold weather animals, I have to admit I’m more partial to moose and polar bears, but penguins are really cute.  Well, our friends at Mumbo Jumbo have set loose a new game staring penguins in the puzzle adventure game, Penguins’ Journey.  I guess we’ll have to create our own moose game. 

Penguins’ Journey is a fun game and a good mix from all the hidden-object and time management games out there right now.  It’s definitely a family game that even your kids will be able to play themselves.  Take some time this weekend and give it a try.

When you think of television greats, people like Johnny Carson, Lucille Ball, Abe Vigoda and David Caruso come to mind.  Well, alright, maybe not the last two, but definitely Johnny & Lucy.  And in my mind, I’d add Merv Griffin to that list not only because of his talk show in the 1970’s, but what he created with Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!, two shows that have not only endured, but thrived over the past 25 years.

Another game that Merv created is Crosswords.  Well, not the actually game, but a Merv’iviefed version for television and now that version has come to your friendly local computer.  Jenkat is proud to offer the game and if you like crossword puzzle, you’re going to like this game.  Give it a try when you have some time or tell a friend about it who loves doing puzzles.

First we got Diner Dash.  Then Diner Dash 2, 3 and 4.  Then Wedding Dash.  Now our friends at PlayFirst have unleashed Doggie Dash, another in the long line of pet time management games that we’ve seen recently.

Doggie Dash is a lot like the previous ‘Dash titles - lots of fun.  Nothing cuter than a puppy taking a bath, is there?  If you love dogs, you’re going to quickly become a big fan of Doggie Dash.  Take some time this weekend, relax and play some Doggie Dash.

I’ll be the first to admit that Hotel Mahjong is the best mahjong game since Cafe Mahjongg.  Of course, there’s a little bit of a hometown bias toward Cafe Mahjongg since it’s an original game to Jenkat Games. 

So why is Hotel Mahjong so good?  It’s a fun game.  I know that sounds simple, but the best games are always the most fun, right?  A game can have the best graphics in the world, but if the game play isn’t that great, then forget about it.  Thankfuilly Hotel Mahjong is the best of both worlds - great gameplay and wonderful graphics.

Our friends over at iWin have passed along their newest game to us for you to check out and play.  It’s called Polly Pride: Pet Detective and a fun romp through the life of a pet detective, ironically.

You know, everytime I say the name Polly Pride: Pet Detective a mischevious grin appears on my face as I have a “pet” name (no pun intended) for the game.  That’s all I’ll say.  As for the game, I have to hand to to the team at iWin for creating a wonderful game with lots of fun interaction with many different types of pets.  Me?  I’m a dog guy, even though I have a bit of Howard Hughes in me - I don’t like to touch anything.
