History

HISTORY
Jenkat Media was incorporated in January of 2007 and later that year completed a seed round of financing. Jenkat’s founders come from Fox Interactive Media where they built much of Fox’s casual games business and provided games for MySpace.com, AmericanIdol.com and other Fox properties. In November of 2006, Fox sold its casual games division to Demand Media, Inc. for an estimated $20 million.

  • Former Jenkat Board of Director member Michael Makar returns and joins the Jenkat Board of Advisors
  • Jenkat launches it’s first iOS game (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) – Tap Treasure: A Finders Keepers Adventure
  • Jenkat enters into a strategic advertising partnership with CafeMom.com, the #1 site on the Internet for Mom’s
  • Jenkat Launches Six New Original Online Games Including Decades: The 80′s
  • Jenkat Launches Version 4 of their Jenkat Games Arcade Desktop App

2010

  • Jenkat Attracts Two Million Unique Visitors Per Month According to comScore
  • Jenkat Announces Over One Million Installs of the Jenkat Games Arcade App
  • Jenkat and Namco Bandai Enter Into Distribution for Namco Games on JenkatGames.com

2009

  • Jenkat Surges to One Million Unique Visitors Per Month According to comScore
